Shipping & Delivery
Authority to Leave (ATL)
All orders are shipped with an "Authority to Leave" (ATL) unless otherwise instructed.
This means couriers may leave your package in a safe location if no one is home at the time of delivery. ATL helps avoid re-delivery fees, which can range from approximately $30-$50 and are at the customer’s expense.
If you prefer your package to be signed for, please notify us in writing before your order is fulfilled.
International Shipping (North America)
We currently ship only within Australia from this store. For customers in North America, please switch to our US website by selecting the appropriate region at the bottom of this page to place your order.
Processing Times
All orders are processed within 2-4 business days. During peak periods such as sales or holiday seasons, processing times may be slightly longer due to increased demand. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your delivery.
Shipping Carriers
We use reliable carriers, including Direct Freight Express, Border Express, and Sendle, to ensure fast and safe delivery of your order.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimated as follows:
- Metro Areas: 2-5 business days
- Regional Areas: 3-8 business days
Please note: These timeframes are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control, such as courier delays or weather conditions.
Shipping Restrictions
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. Please ensure you provide a valid physical address at checkout to avoid delays or additional fees.
Incorrect Address Details
It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery details. If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, your parcel may be delayed, returned, or incur additional charges.
Any fees for re-delivery or address updates will be at your expense. We cannot offer refunds for orders where incorrect addresses were supplied.
Delivery Return to Sender
If a delivery is returned to us due to incorrect address details, failure to collect, or refusal of delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipping. Additional shipping fees will apply, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Insurance & Liability
We do not offer shipping insurance. Once an item is marked ‘Delivered’ on our tracking system, you must take up any enquiries with the courier directly, as we have limited information at this point.
If parcels are stolen after being left in a location deemed ‘Safe’ by the courier, we recommend having the parcel delivered to a work address or alternate location where someone will be home.
Damaged Deliveries
We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit due to negligence by Direct Freight Express, Border Express, or other carriers.
If your order arrives with damages or issues, please contact our Customer Support Team via email at info@burleighwagon.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order so we can assist you.
Right to Cancel Orders
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if shipping costs to your location are excessively high or exceed reasonable limits. In such cases, we will contact you before processing the order to notify you of the issue.
